About
KRP Press is a publishing institution pioneered by KERAPU, the alumni association of fishery students at Diponegoro University. KERAPU itself is taken from the local name of the Grouper fish (Epinephelus sp.)
Briefs
Along with the launch of Aquaculture for Future, KRP Press wanted to change their logo with a new simple look.
The Challenge
Changing the logo of the KRP Press to be more fisheries looks, but still maintaining its existence as a publisher.
Problem Solve
The key is the KRP branding will be combined with the fish image.
In this rebranding project, I used a Wordmark-type logo combined with a negative space technique to create a fishy feel.
Luckily, the negative space of the letter K forms the fish's head perfectly, while the letter R emphasizes the shape of the fish's fins and tail.
